Khuzama
Belly Dance
Khuzama is an award-winning professional belly dancer, instructor and entertainer. She has performed and taught the art of Egyptian and Lebanese dance all over the country for over 15 years. She is also a choreographer that draws her influences from modern and classical Egyptian style, fusion with a hint of Lebanese style dance. Well versed in the intricacies of where culture and dance meet, she has in depth knowledge of the history, folkloric traditions and modern stylizations of dance.

Meet Katy, your dedicated dance instructor, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to her classes. Trained in various styles, Katy creates a supportive and inclusive environment for all levels. Lindsay
Hoop Dance
My name is Lindsay and I've been hula hooping for 10 years.
Hooping has made such a positive impact on my life -- both mentally and physically. I want to create a safe space for everyone to enjoy... to express themselves and teach others how to dance at every skill level and connect to their own body. Community and supporting individuals in their growth means so much to me. I hope everyone who takes my class finds a new and exciting way to express themselves. Lets create art through movement, come flow with me!
Queen
Burlesque, Chair Dance, Twerk
Award-winning performer, Queen Nzinga, is a mother by day and a burlesque performer by night. Her highness is a part of Snacc Time Burlesque. She produces shows and classes show based on her brand, "Twerklesque". She also founded the Philly Phatty Awards, the first all-plus-size award show in Philadelphia.
You may have seen this West-African Queen at the Colorado Burlesque festival, Savannah Burlesque Festival, What The Funk Fest, Burlesque & Beyond, FATlanta, or Teaching Twerklesque at BurlyCon, Atlanta School of Burlesque, and Philly’s top burlesque schools. She is Philly’s THIRST TRAP OF THE YEAR 2019. Fat, Fierce, and Fabulous! She will entice you with her dancing as you fall in love with her coy smile. She's Philadelphia's reigning Twerk Empress.

Ray
Line Dancing
This spinning cowboy is impossible to miss on the floor! His lifelong dance experience is put to good use in Ballroom style, too. Ray keeps busy teaching both line and partner dancing in Delaware as well as in any other state he visits.
All levels of experience are welcome to join his classes -- come ready to have fun! Ray will teach you whatever you need to know, from floor etiquette to everyday dance tips.
Sydney
Contemporary, Hip Hop
Sydney Coffey is a recent graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Arts Management with minors in theatre and contemporary dance. She has trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, and hip hop dance since she was very young. She has taught dance classes at Chesco Dance Center and was a company member, choreographer and the director of production for InMotion Dance Company, a student-led company at Indiana University. She has a deep love of dance and movement as self expression and is so excited to be sharing that love at Floorplay.
Ruth
Ballroom/Rhythm, West Coast Swing,
Brazilian Zouk, Power Yoga, Chair Dance
Ruth has been immersed in the world of arts from the age of 4, beginning with ballet, tap, and jazz. She brings thirteen years of instruction and competition to her teaching with concurrent yoga, ballroom dance, and fitness pursuits. She believes in movement as both a healing art and as a form of personal expression. There is a strong focus on correct alignment and form. Variations for poses and sequences allow for all levels to find an appropriate balance of challenge and comfort while developing inner awareness.
