Twerk & Burlesque fusion choreo for all bodies
Service Description
Learn the basics of twerk (and more!) in a fun, encouraging, and body-positive atmosphere. You will learn booty popping, rolls, shaking, floor work, and isolations, to name a few! At the end of each lesson, we will add to a twerk choreography. Sensual movement will be included in our choreo. Get your back and booty ready to drop it, pop it, and roll. You will learn this with a fusion of burlesque movements to enhance your style and flow. Come dressed to sweat! Be sure to bring shorts and/or kneepads. Any shoes can be worn except rubber-bottom street shoes! Bare feet, hip hop sneakers, jazz shoes, pleasers, burlesque shoes/character shoes are all appropriate. Footwear must be in good condition with a healthy bottom sole. No nails can be presenting under a worn character shoe's heel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Performance in the Anniversary showcase is available and entirely optional. Dress Rehearsal is only required for performers and scheduled Friday, September 27th at 6:30 PM (the night before the show). What is included for an additional $88: - digital access to video recordings of show material - forum and chat features for your instructor and classmates - rehearsal showcase eve - performance in the showcase, Saturday, March 30th - SRO ticket to the showcase in it's entirety
