Chair-lesque Series

Service Description

Sometimes we like to dance with a prop - like a cane or a chair - and this is how it’s done... perfect for the beginner. Over the course of five lessons, you will learn active choreography that combines chair tricks, poses, and moves with steps from cabaret, burlesque, and contemporary dance styles. All bodies and experience levels welcome. Wear form-fitting, comfortable clothing. These are simplified, feasible movements incorporated into an entertaining choreography meant to be seen ;) Meetings Friday the 14th, Monday the 17th, Friday the 21st, Monday the 24th, and Monday the 31st. If any participants wish to showcase their talents in the student/teacher "April Affair" on April 5th, rehearsal is mandatory on Friday the 4th.
