Burlesque (lvl 2) series - w/Bonuses!

Service Description

Join MasoKiss for an 8-week group choreography series for the Fall 2024 Muscles and Chaos Studio Showcase! This series is designed for those that have previously taken MasoKiss' group choreo classes, but is also open to those that have taken burlesque classes with other instructors at the studio (or have previous burlesque experience). Already having knowledge of the basics, we will be upping the ante with choreography and sparkle! There is no requirement to perform in the showcase, but it is highly encouraged. Your enrollment fee now includes a standing-room-only ticket to the show. You may upgrade your ticket for a seat next to your guests by e-mailing hello@floorplaystudio.com and if you wish not to perform, you have full show access to root for your fellow classmates! If time permits, we will have one class dedicated to rhinestoning costumes. Each student will be using a pair of silk veil fans in the piece. One class will be dedicated to getting used to the fans and general movements with them before incorporating them into the choreography. Music: Mix of "Riot" by Tom MacDonald and "Watch The World Burn" by Falling in Reverse. Required costuming/materials: - Pair of silk veil fans in any fire color (red, orange, yellow, black, or any ombre of those colors. Amazon links will be provided) - Black leather jacket (or something similar if that isn't already in your wardrobe) - Opera gloves in any fire color - Bra in any fire color - Black bottoms (any style) - Footwear will be decided amongst the students - Accessories (stockings/fishnets, garter belts, underbust corsets) will be discussed amongst the students. If used, they will be black in color and not everyone has to match. Provided by MasoKiss: Performance pasties Embellishing of costumes is highly encouraged, but not required. MasoKiss will have a rhinestoning resource video available to all students. Practices are Mondays starting July 8th 7:50-8:45pm. Everyone will have access to rehearsal videos via the studio FIT app. Performers only: Dress rehearsal is Friday, September 27th at 6:30pm. The Showcase is Saturday, September 28th at 6:30pm (5:30 call time).

Cancellation Policy

Book a session up to twelve hours in advance. Cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance to not lose class credit.
